MONFORTE D'ALBA: GUIDED WALKING TOUR AND WINE-TASTING

Fall in love with the Langhe area by exploring Monforte d’Alba, a charming village surrounded by beautiful hills, part of UNESCO heritage list since the year 2014. Here, you will find great views, excellent wines, delicious truffles, and many interesting stories. Enjoy a walking tour that will lead you through the streets and hidden corners of Monforte, before discovering how the prestigious wines of the area are made. During the tour, visit both the new and the old village together with a local guide. Learn more about the astonishing church of Our Lady of the Snow, the “Saracca” historical center, the heretics of Monforte, and the Horszowski Auditorium, where the famous Monfortinjazz festival is held every summer. After that, a wine tasting awaits for you at a local cellar. The wine producer will take you on a pleasant stroll in the vineyards (weather permitting) before visiting the cellar. At the end of the tour, taste 5 wines, paired with a plate of cheese and salami and other typical food.
