Tour features
During this tour you will explore some of the most famous areas that are part of Langhe UNESCO heritage site and enjoy a special wine tasting paired with some local products.
You will leave from Alba, where you will meet your guide, by private bus. The tour starts with a panoramic view of the beautiful Vergne area, before a stop in Barolo, the home of the most famous wine of Piedmont. A walk at the foot of the castle, among the many shops and the curious corkscrew museum. After a short break in the village, we will move to a cellar for a visit and a tasting of local wines, including Barolo.
The visit will focus on the history of the winery itself, the hills and vineyards that surround it and the winemaking methods. The tasting of wines will be paired with local cheese, breadsticks, hazelnuts and other snacks.
Last stop in Monforte d’Alba, the charming village famous for its Monfortinjazz Festival, held every summer in the unique location of Auditorium Horszowski.
At the end of the tour, return to Alba.
