Elva, a treasures of Cottian Alps. You will have the chance to visit the parish church of Serre hamlet, which keeps inside frescoes by Hans Clemer. These frescoes tell the story of Virgin Mary, Jesus and the Crucifixion. Furthermore there is also a stone baptismal font made by the siblings Zabreri of San Damiano Macra.
The visit will continue with the “Pels” museum to discover the story of Elva hair pickers , who made valuable wigs; those wigs were sold in the whole of Europe.
After lunch you will continue end the tour visiting two churches, which guard stunning frescoes: San Peyre Church in Stroppo and San Salvatore Church in Macra.
